About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Paralegal to join our team and support our legal operations.

This is a remote opportunity that offers flexibility and the chance to work from home. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing insurance claims, coordinating with insurance brokers, and assisting in litigation-related tasks.

As a Paralegal, you will handle state licensing processes for acquisitions and ensure regulatory compliance. You will also be responsible for preparing clear, concise summary reports and updates for executive leadership.

This position requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and monitor insurance claims and coordinate with insurance brokers on ongoing cases.
  • Assist in the management of lawsuits, including maintaining documentation, timelines, and coordination with legal counsel.
  • Oversee the legal process related to state licensing for new or potential acquisitions, ensuring timely submissions and renewals.
  • Liaise with state agencies to ensure full compliance with licensing requirements.
  • Prepare and write clear, concise summary reports and updates for ownership and executive leadership.
  • Maintain accurate records of legal matters, communications, and compliance documents.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Must have proven experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant in healthcare or senior living sector.
  • Should have a strong understanding of insurance claims and litigation processes.
  • Familiarity with state licensing requirements and acquisition-related legal documentation is required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
  • A Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certification is preferred.
  • Experience working in multi-state environments or with regulatory agencies is desired.
