Job Title: Legal Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to support our attorneys by collecting, organizing evidence and legal documents, assisting with filings and trial preparations, and managing communications among parties.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully preparing relevant documents for real estate transactions, drafting and reviewing discovery documents in family law cases, and maintaining organized systems for document management.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Evidence Collection and Management: Gather, organize, and maintain accurate records of all relevant evidence and documents.
  2. Document Preparation: Prepare relevant documents for real estate transactions, including contracts, deeds, and title reports.
  3. Discovery Support: Assist with the preparation and review of discovery documents in family law cases, including requests for production, interrogatories, and depositions.
  4. Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information and provide updates.
Requirements:
  1. Paralegal Certification: Possess a paralegal certification or a degree in a related field.
  2. Experience: Have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in a law firm or legal services organization.
  3. Technical Skills: Be proficient in legal software, including document management systems, and have strong computer skills.
  4. Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, witnesses, and colleagues.
