We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our team in a Patient Financial Outreach role.

Key Responsibilities
  • The ideal candidate will proactively reach out to patients to review co-pays, balances, and payment options.
  • They will provide clear explanations of billing statements and assist with setting up payment plans when needed.
  • The successful candidate must accurately document all patient interactions, financial discussions, and related information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
  • A strong communicator, they will work closely with intake, clinical, and billing teams to ensure accurate information flow.
  • In cases of complex patient or insurance issues, they will escalate them for resolution.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in medical billing, insurance verification, or healthcare accounts receivable is necessary.
  • The candidate must be proficient in English (spoken and written).
  • Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and time management are essential.
  • Ability to manage sensitive patient information with integrity (HIPAA compliance) is required.
  • Comfortable using billing software, EHR systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) industry would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of CPT and HCPCS coding would also be beneficial.
  • Familiarity with denial management and appeals processes could be advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities are also desired.
