Human Resources Specialist

 Job Description

The role of the HR Specialist is to address employee queries and concerns related to company policies, payroll, benefits, and compliance. This involves resolving employee grievances in a timely and efficient manner.

Maintaining accurate records of daily HR cases and tracking resolution times for process improvement is also an essential part of this position.

This includes handling daily HR task case solving and ensuring timely resolutions. Employee onboarding is another key responsibility, including pre-boarding activities, orientation sessions, assigning mentors, and tracking progress during the probation period.

Employee relations & engagement is critical, which involves developing engagement activities, conducting check-ins, mediating disputes, and conducting exit interviews to improve retention.

Training & development for new joiners involves assessing needs, developing materials, scheduling and conducting sessions, evaluating effectiveness, and maintaining training records.

Payroll & benefits management includes processing payroll, managing health insurance/leave/retirement benefits, addressing discrepancies, staying updated on regulations, and coordinating with finance for audits.

Compliance & HR policies (EMEA) involve ensuring adherence to local laws, updating policies, conducting compliance training, handling employment contracts and terminations, and maintaining audit documentation.

HR analytics & reporting involves collecting/analyzing metrics, preparing leadership reports, using data-driven decisions, and implementing HR tech solutions.

Auditing daily HR cases involves performing regular audits, reviewing files/resolutions for compliance, identifying trends, and implementing best practices.

SOP creation involves developing and updating SOPs for HR functions, documenting workflows, training staff on adherence.

Process implementation & improvements involve identifying gaps, implementing best practices, automating repetitive tasks, monitoring progress and efficiency gains.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years in operations
  • Proficiency in HRMS and HR analytics tools
  • Knowledge of payroll and benefits platforms
  • Understanding of employment laws and compliance
  • Data analysis and reporting skills using Excel or similar tools
  • Process documentation and SOP creation expertise
  • Proficiency in audit and compliance tracking
  • Project management for process improvement
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
