Customer Service and Logistics Coordinator Role

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Customer Service and Logistics Coordinator. This role involves working closely with customers and logistics partners to coordinate deliveries efficiently while maintaining a strong focus on providing outstanding customer service.

About the Job:
  • This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
  • The ideal candidate will be customer-focused and comfortable working with spreadsheets, order tracking, and e-commerce systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sending order confirmations and thank-you emails to customers outlining delivery or pick-up expectations.
  2. Liaising with customers to provide clear, timely updates on furniture delivery timeframes.
  3. Coordinating and creating a weekly logistics spreadsheet for interstate deliveries.
  4. Working closely with warehouse and logistics partners to ensure efficient and accurate dispatch of orders.
  5. Assisting with pre-orders by tracking expected arrival times and scheduling deliveries accordingly.
  6. Tracking, monitoring, and following up on deliveries to ensure timely completion.
  7. Maintaining accurate records of delivery schedules and customer interactions.
  8. Providing administrative support related to logistics and customer service.
  9. Supporting website-related tasks in the future.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in customer service, logistics, or e-commerce operations preferred.
  • Experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills essential for clear and professional customer emails.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and record-keeping.
  • Comfortable using spreadsheets for delivery coordination.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
