Logistics Transportation Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled transportation logistics coordinator to join our team. This position is crucial in coordinating and managing transportation logistics to ensure timely deliveries and efficient routing.
The key responsibilities of this role include scheduling and dispatching trucks for deliveries based on route optimization and customer requirements, monitoring the progress of shipments and providing real-time updates to clients and drivers, maintaining communication with drivers to provide assistance and solve any issues that may arise during transit, coordinating load assignments and tracking the status of deliveries to ensure on-time service, managing customer inquiries and resolving any issues related to scheduling or deliveries, and utilizing dispatching software and tracking systems to maintain accurate records.
- This role requires previous experience in trucking dispatch, logistics, or fleet management, a strong understanding of trucking routes, regulations, and industry best practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in dispatch software and technology, the ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
