Job Summary

The Admin Assistant position is a critical role within our organization, responsible for managing employee data, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring the accuracy of benefits enrollment. This position requires attention to detail, ability to manage multiple systems, and strong organizational skills.

To excel in this role, candidates must possess a college undergraduate or graduate degree, 1-2 years of administrative experience, and familiarity with HRIS systems and employee benefits administration.

Main Responsibilities
  • Process eligibility changes for employees by accurately updating relevant systems and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Send enrollments to carriers via email, fax, or system uploads, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Audit internal systems against carrier invoices for accuracy, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues promptly.
  • Perform data entry in various carrier systems to add or terminate employees, maintaining up-to-date records.
  • Collaborate with carriers and internal systems to develop and maintain connections, ensuring seamless operations.
Requirements
  • College undergraduate or graduate degree
  • 1-2 years of administrative experience
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and employee benefits administration (preferred)
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in data handling
  • Familiarity with various carrier systems and portals
  • Strong communication skills across email, phone, and fax
  • Ability to handle confidential data with discretion
  • Experience in auditing and discrepancy resolution
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Knowledge of compliance and benefits regulations (a plus)
