We are seeking a highly skilled Designer/Draftsperson to join our team.

Custom Furniture Specialist

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be an expert in producing detailed, accurate technical drawings and be proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp.

A strong background in custom woodwork design is a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create precise and detailed 2D and 3D drawings for custom furniture projects.
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and craftsmen to ensure designs meet specifications.
  • Prepare accurate shop drawings and construction details.
  • Modify and adjust drawings based on feedback and production requirements.
  • Ensure all designs comply with structural and material considerations for custom wood fabrication.
Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp (required).
  • Proven experience creating detailed technical drawings for furniture or millwork.
  • Knowledge of custom wood construction techniques (highly preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to translate design concepts into production-ready drawings.
Work Requirements:
  • Must have your own laptop or desktop computer.
  • Stable internet connection and a backup device/connection for emergencies.
