Job Opportunity

This role supports missionaries during their initial 12-week period in the field. Mentors will engage with missionaries remotely, using established principles and resources to provide real-world training within a specified division.

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Mentoring missionaries on an individual basis, providing coaching and feedback, as well as participating in pilots and initiatives.
  • Developing and preparing sessions based on approved curricula to address the needs of each missionary.
  • Guiding missionaries in planning and accounting for their learning, incorporating direction and training from leadership.
  • Ensuring continuous growth, development, and understanding of In-Field MLD practices and PMG curriculum.
  • Ongoing responsibilities involve reporting on missionary needs and progress, ensuring the well-being of each missionary, and taking on additional temporary duties as necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, applicants must possess:

  • A returned missionary status of less than 3 years or currently teaching at a Missionary Training Center, unless exceptional language need is identified.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, accompanied by excellent communication, coaching, facilitation, and training skills.
  • A strong understanding of Preach My Gospel principles and remote video call capabilities are essential for success in this role.
  • Self-motivation, professionalism, and interpersonal skills are highly valued.
