Global Freight Development Manager

We are seeking a seasoned and results-driven professional to drive the growth of our international freight forwarding business.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in freight forwarding, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successfully developing and implementing business strategies.

  • Develop and Implement Strategic Plans: Design and execute comprehensive business development plans to expand our international freight forwarding services.
  • Identify New Market Opportunities: Conduct market research, networking, and lead generation activities to identify new market opportunities and potential clients.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, freight forwarders, carriers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Client Meetings and Negotiations: Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure new business and retain existing clients.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the operations team to ensure efficient and timely execution of freight forwarding services. Provide regular updates, reports, and forecasts on business development activities, pipeline, and revenue projections.
  • Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
    • 5-10 years experience in international freight forwarding.
    • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the international freight forwarding industry.
