Global Freight Development Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our international freight development efforts. As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for expanding our global freight business by identifying new opportunities and nurturing key relationships.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to drive revenue growth in international freight services.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities through research and networking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, freight forwarders, carriers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient execution of freight forwarding services.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and contracts to prospective clients.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
  • 5-10 years experience in international freight forwarding.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the international freight forwarding industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of international trade, customs regulations, transportation modes, and logistics operations.
  • Strong network of contacts within the freight forwarding industry.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic business plans, achieve sales targets, and drive revenue growth.
