We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to fill the role of Accounting Assistant.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial records. Key responsibilities include maintaining ledgers, processing transactions, and verifying expenses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions, and monitor outstanding payments.
  • Bank Reconciliation & Financial Transactions: Reconcile company bank statements, prepare journal entries, and maintain ledger accuracy.
  • Payroll & Employee Expense Management: Assist in payroll preparation, process employee reimbursements, and maintain expense reports.
  • Tax & Compliance Support: Assist in tax filings, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintain up-to-date financial records.
  • Financial Reporting & Data Management: Generate reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and budget reports.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks is preferred. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
