Job Overview

This role focuses on establishing and maintaining quality processes for materials and products, ensuring reliability and conformance to standards throughout manufacturing.

Responsibilities
  • Initiate corrective action requests as needed and track them to satisfactory completion.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of quality audits.
  • Develop, apply, revise, and maintain quality standards for processing materials into partially finished or finished products.
  • Develop and implement standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
  • Approve product, process, and equipment qualifications.
  • DIRECT workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability.
  • Generate or establish procedures in accordance with ISO standards.
  • Work with Supplier Quality Engineering and suppliers for material quality issues and drive improvements.
  • Initiate, review, and approve ECNs for product reliability, quality, and improvement.
  • Perform final quality check on product before shipping to customer.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • Must have high analytical skills.
  • Must have a high sense of urgency.
  • Must be capable of leading or interfacing with cross-functional teams across different levels of the organization.
  • Must have solid software and hardware troubleshooting skills (e.g., C++, Visual Basic).
  • Must be flexible and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in computer operation, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, etc.), and familiarity with internet-based program navigation, with ability to generate and interpret computer data.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
