JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Helps along with his senior architect in creating building designs and highly detailed drawings both by hand and by using specialist computer-aided design (CAD) applications.
  • Liaising with construction professionals about the feasibility of potential projects
  • Working closely with his co-architect and other professionals such as operation managers, project engineers, surveyors, and draftsmen.
  • Ensures that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines, and regulations.
  • Writing and presenting reports, proposals, detailed blueprints
  • Adapting plans according to circumstances and resolving any problems that may arise during construction
  • Visits to the project site to check on the actual project status
  • Performs other relevant tasks that may be assigned from time to time

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Licensed Architect
  • At least 2 years experience as an architect
  • Willing to be re-assigned to other project sites/locations if necessary (ex. Bohol, Surigao, Manila etc.)
  • Proficient in the use of design software (AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp or similar software)
  • Knowledge in building products, construction details, rules, regulations, and quality standards
  • Wide imagination
  • Capable of building design, construction documentation, and detailing
  • Communication and project management skills
  • Keen to visual details
