Job Title: Operations Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability and reliability of our systems.

The successful candidate will be accountable for monitoring and clearing message queues, generating security requests, and investigating unknown queries. They will also work closely with business users and technical teams to resolve complex issues and implement new security types and functionalities.

This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your skills and experience in investment operations and fund accounting to drive process improvements and deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and clear message queues: Ensure all transactions are elevated to final status at end of day.
  • Generate security requests: Create ad-hoc security requests and monitor setup occurrences within an acceptable timeframe.
  • Investigate unknown queries: Analyze and resolve queries received from Transaction Hub (THUB) and generate ad-hoc transactions as needed.
  • Support business users: Provide assistance to business users in resolving moderate to complex business issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field: A relevant degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Investment Operations and Fund Accounting: A proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a similar role.
  • Hybrid Work Arrangement: Ability to work onsite and remotely, dependent on business needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt: Willingness to take on new challenges and learn new concepts and information.
