Job Description:

The Senior Electrical Systems Specialist is a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and reliability of power systems and metering infrastructure. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise in metering systems, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.

Main Responsibilities:
  • System Operations Monitoring: Monitor electrical systems operations in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Metering System Management: Ensure accurate installation, calibration, testing, and maintenance of metering systems.
  • Performance Analysis: Conduct system performance analysis and recommend corrective measures to improve efficiency.
  • Data Validation: Manage and validate metering data for billing, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Technology Integration: Support integration of new metering technologies and system upgrades.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot system and metering issues, coordinating with technical teams for resolution.
Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Licensure: Must be a Licensed Electrical Engineer.
  • Professional Experience: At least 1-2 years of professional experience in power systems operations, metering engineering, or related roles.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and metering technologies.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance in the energy/power industry.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in using SCADA, metering software, and data management systems.
