Job Summary:

The Senior Business Transition Specialist role presents a unique opportunity to lead and support critical business transitions, encompassing process re-engineering, system integrations, and service enhancements. This position provides exposure to cross-functional operations and the chance to influence how change is delivered across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support in transition and project management of initiatives related to process improvement, digitization, and cost optimization.
  • Implementation of strategic plans to achieve operational excellence and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Ensure that assigned projects are completed within defined timelines and budgets while meeting client business objectives.
  • Identification, analysis, mitigation, documentation, and control of project risks.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with project teams, stakeholders, sponsors, and management.
  • Coordination in establishing contract terms and conditions and ensuring compliance in the scope of work and key performance indicators.
  • Maintenance of report queues from initiation through to completion, including detailed requirements.
  • Participation in business analysis activities to maintain reports and enhancements requests as needed.
  • Development of report standards and best practices or guidelines for repeatable processes.
  • Provision of detailed source analysis and data mappings to implement new data sources/integrations.
  • Documentation of all data processes and technical design for transparency and on-going support.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 2 - 3 years' experience in transition or project management.
  • 3 – 5 years' experience in BPO, shared services, or financial services.
  • Post-secondary education and equivalent business experience.
  • Proficiency in monitoring transition milestones, risks, and issues, and escalating as needed.
  • Compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and standard operating procedures.
  • Preparation and maintenance of transition documentation, reports, and dashboards.
  • Thorough understanding of products, administration compliance, operations, and systems, including business desktop applications and relevant financial products.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset.
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership.
  • Adaptability to change and comfort working in dynamic environments.
