Finance Leadership Role

A seasoned finance professional is required to oversee financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and drive profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial models to inform business decisions.
    • Analyze financial performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement to maximize ROI.
  • Accounting and Reporting
    • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll functions to ensure seamless financial operations.
    • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Compliance and Audit
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations, minimizing risk exposure.
    • Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and financial reviews, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
  • Team Management
    • Lead and mentor the finance and accounting teams, developing their skills and expertise to drive departmental success.
    • Develop team management strategies to improve departmental efficiency and productivity.
  • Strategic Financial Support
    • Provide strategic financial insights to senior management, informing business decisions and driving growth.
    • Evaluate financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring long-term sustainability.
  • Cash Flow and Treasury Management
    • Manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and operational efficiency, minimizing borrowing costs.
    • Oversee investments, banking relationships, and funding arrangements to optimize financial returns.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years in bookkeeping/accounting with a focus on leadership roles.
  • 2+ years in management budgeting and projections with experience in financial analysis.
  • Proven track record in managerial or controller positions with a strong understanding of financial systems.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with excellent communication abilities.
Skills:
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks online, Quickbooks desktop) and advanced Excel with data analysis capabilities.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and time-management skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams.
