Hydraulics Engineer Job Overview

The role of a Hydraulics Engineer involves providing technical support in the development of design, calculations, reports and documents under the guidance of senior engineers. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining technical designs, calculations and reports for projects across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop high-quality technical designs, calculations and reports to meet project requirements and client specifications.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, codes and standards to stay up-to-date with best practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Working towards professional certifications such as MCIBSE/MIEE or Chartered Eng status.
  • 2-3 years of relevant working experience.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics systems, plumbing codes, fire protection systems and other mechanical codes.
  • Familiarity with international design practices and standards.
  • Excellent IT skills, including MS Office applications and calculation software.
