Job Overview

As an Acquisition Manager, you will oversee the procurement process to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct thorough assessments to identify qualified vendors based on quality, cost, and reliability.
  2. Draft and distribute RFPs to potential vendors outlining specifications and requirements for products or services needed.
  3. Analyze costs to identify optimal procurement options aligned with budget constraints and quality standards.
  4. Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and conditions.
  5. Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.
  6. Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure purchased materials meet quality metrics.
  7. Oversee the ordering process from requisition to delivery guaranteeing timeliness and accuracy.
  8. Maintain relationships with suppliers for long-term partnerships and cost savings.
  9. Serve as the primary point of contact between engineering departments and suppliers for technical clarification or issue resolution.
  10. Administer supplier contracts and agreements to meet short-term needs and long-term strategic goals.
