Main Responsibilities
  • Create Comprehensive Test Strategies: Develop and implement test plans and cases for SaaS applications and APIs, focusing on functionality, security, and performance.
  • Automate Testing Workflows: Utilize Reflect.Run and Cypress to automate integration and end-to-end testing, integrating into our CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions.
  • API Testing: Design and execute tests for APIs to ensure they meet performance and security standards, using Postman for thorough validation.
  • Security and Load Testing: Conduct security assessments and performance testing to identify potential vulnerabilities and ensure scalability.
  • Collaborative Development: Work closely with development teams to understand application architecture, ensuring seamless integration and high-quality deliverables.
  • Community Engagement: Engage with the crypto community to gather feedback and insights, driving continuous product improvement.
  • User Experience Testing: Leverage Maze and Lookback to conduct usability testing and gather user feedback, enhancing the overall user experience.
  • Feature Management and Experimentation: Implement feature flagging and A/B testing using Split.io to manage feature releases and conduct experiments.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated QA Expertise: Proven experience as a QA Engineer, preferably within SaaS or crypto space, with a strong focus on web applications and APIs.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern testing frameworks, familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Crypto Knowledge: Deep knowledge of the cryptocurrency landscape and active involvement in the crypto community.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, identifying and resolving issues effectively.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • API Testing Specialist: Experience with API testing tools and methodologies.
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile frameworks and practices, including regression testing.
