Job Description

The primary responsibility of a QA Tester is to ensure that software applications meet the required standards by conducting thorough testing. This includes functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing across various platforms. As part of this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing efforts.

You will be responsible for reviewing design documents, creating comprehensive test cases, and executing manual tests. Additionally, you may contribute to building automated test scripts to improve efficiency and coverage. Effective communication skills are essential to articulate issues and collaborate with developers, product owners, and UX designers.

  • Testing Responsibilities:
  • Validate digital banking builds against business and customer expectations.
  • Test features across mobile and web applications.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality standards.
  • Raise detailed defect reports and verify bug fixes.
  • Execute manual test cases and maintain test scripts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in QA testing.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Experience with using Jira or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of functional and regression testing methodologies.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive and eager to learn, especially in digital banking trends.
