Automation Software Tester

We are seeking an exceptional Automation QA Engineer to play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web applications.
This individual will design, develop, and maintain robust automated test solutions using WebDriverIO, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern features like async/await and Promises.
Hands-on experience with any JS-based testing framework, deep experience with WebDriverIO is a strong plus.
A solid understanding of the Page Object Model (POM) and experience building scalable test automation frameworks is required.
Additionally, the candidate should be proficient with Git and version control workflows, including branching, pull requests, and resolving merge conflicts.
Experience with CI/CD tools and integrating automated tests into deployment pipelines is also essential.
Critical ability to automate API tests and understand RESTful services is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and Develop Automated Test Solutions: Create clean, reliable, and scalable automated tests for our web applications using WebDriverIO, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Contribute to Testing Framework: Implement the Page Object Model (POM) and create reusable components and utilities to enhance testing efficiency.
- Improve Test Reliability: Handle complex scenarios involving iFrames, multiple windows, and asynchronous operations to ensure comprehensive end-to-end test coverage.
- Integrate API Tests: Automate API tests within the WebDriverIO framework to ensure seamless integration with our existing testing infrastructure.
- Champion Quality in CI/CD: Integrate automation scripts into our pipelines and analyze test results to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Development Team: Participate in code reviews, drive testing strategy, and contribute to Agile development methodologies.
- Software Quality Assurance Experience: 3-5 years in software quality assurance, with at least 2-3 years focused on test automation.
- Programming Skills: Strong proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern features like async/await and Promises.
- Testing Frameworks: Hands-on experience with any JS-based testing framework; deep experience with WebDriverIO is a strong plus.
