Senior Quality Assurance and Test Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance & Test Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a challenging role and make a meaningful contribution to the success of our organization.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high engineering quality, improving testing infrastructure and automation processes, and driving continuous improvement of key e-commerce operations.

  • Develop test strategies and propose improvements in test systems and processes to improve quality or speed of testing.
  • Conduct user acceptance and exploratory testing to ensure that products meet customer requirements.
  • Design and develop automated functional and performance tests to validate product functionality.
  • Identify test gaps and improve test plans to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Perform manual testing of new features and bug fixes to ensure defect-free products.
  • Own the end-to-end testing of various integrated proprietary and third-party services to ensure seamless integration.
  • Propose code design changes to increase testability and reduce technical debt.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide them on testing best practices and coordinate test coverage across unit, integration, and contract testing.
  • Conduct functional, regression, performance, ETL, and end-to-end testing of new application releases and change requests to ensure quality.
  • Review and audit the work done by the engineering team to ensure completeness and quality.
  • Prepare and maintain all QA documentation such as Test Plan, Test Cases, Test Metrics, Issues List, and relevant records to facilitate knowledge sharing.
  • Reconcile data between key systems to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
