The Role

A trained testing professional responsible for testing end-products, identifying and analyzing quality concerns via requirements review and product inspection.

Designs appropriate tests needed to ensure the quality of the product under test, documents defects and failure rates, performs root cause analysis, and communicates quality metrics in test reports.

About You
  • Analytical mindset, natural curiosity, and an ability to think outside the box to solve problems.
  • Able to learn quickly and be adaptable.
  • Experience leading a team or mentoring/coaching other testers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical resources.
Key Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in manual testing (functional, non-functional, regression).
  • Designs test cases and test scripts under own direction, mapping back to pre-determined criteria, recording and reporting test outcomes.
  • Participates in requirement, design, and specification reviews, and uses this information to design test plans and test conditions.
  • Applies agreed standards to specify and perform manual and automated testing.
Desirable Skills
  • Web-based applications.
  • Understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Thorough understanding of software development life cycles.
