Quality Assurance Consultant Role

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our organization as a Quality Assurance Consultant.

You will play a key role in testing and validating software integrations, features, and analytics dashboards for both customer and internal projects. Your expertise in QA will ensure that our software products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

As a Junior Quality Assurance Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining manual and automated test cases for data flows, workflows, and process automation. You will also verify data mapping, synchronization, and error handling between connected systems.

In addition, you will perform functional, regression, exploratory, and UAT testing on platform features and enhancements. You will also test and validate BI reports and dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) for data accuracy, visualization, and usability.

Your collaboration with developers, BI/reporting teams, and Technical Solutions Architects will help identify and resolve defects. You will contribute to QA automation initiatives as your skills develop (Selenium, Cypress, etc.).

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • Minimum of two years of professional experience in QA, software testing, or a related technical role (internships, school projects welcome).
  • Basic understanding of web applications, APIs (REST, SOAP), and data flows.
  • Familiarity with SQL for data validation and analysis.
  • Experience testing APIs or integrations between systems.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platforms).
  • Knowledge of JSON, XML, or API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI).
  • Exposure to QA automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, etc.).
  • Understanding of SaaS platforms, cloud applications, and data security.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts into business value for clients.
