Sales Development Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative to join our team and help us drive business growth.
About the Role
This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of up to $45,000 per month.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting outbound cold calls to potential clients, identifying and qualifying leads, engaging with prospects, and scheduling appointments for our sales team.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Cold Calling: Conduct outbound cold calls to potential clients in the telematics and fleet management sector.
- Lead Qualification: Identify and qualify leads based on established criteria.
- Prospecting: Engage potential customers in conversations to understand their business needs and present tailored solutions.
- Scheduling Appointments: Schedule appointments and product demonstrations for the sales team with qualified prospects.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of call activities, appointments, and follow-ups in our CRM system.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to ensure smooth handovers of appointments and client information.
- Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly targets for call volume, appointments, and conversions.
Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in cold calling, appointment setting, or lead generation within the telematics and/or fleet management industry.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of telematics, fleet management solutions, and related technologies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a neutral accent preferred for Australian clientele.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using CRM tools, call tracking software, and virtual communication platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams).
- Self-Starter: Highly motivated, able to work independently, and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Time Zone Flexibility: Ability to work within Australian business hours.
Preferred Qualifications
- Australian Clients: Previous experience working with Australian clients.
- Sales Automation Tools: Knowledge of sales automation tools and lead generation strategies.
- Proven Track Record: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs in a similar role.
