Advanced Automotive Technical Support Specialist

The ideal candidate will be a skilled product and service expert responsible for delivering advanced technical solutions, quality assurance insights, and repair strategy support to dealerships. This role ensures that technical concerns are resolved efficiently and accurately while driving defect trend analysis, recall/campaign compliance, and readiness for advanced vehicle technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide remote and on-site technical assistance to dealership technicians in diagnosing and resolving complex issues
  • Monitor recurring technical concerns across models and VINs, prepare defect trend reports, and escalate to regional teams when necessary
  • Lead the implementation and compliance tracking of technical bulletins, campaigns, and recalls
  • Ensure Right First Time (RFT) repair rates are sustained and recommend methods to avoid repeat repairs
  • Conduct quality checks on high-value or safety-related repairs
  • Serve as the local expert on EV and hybrid system diagnosis, BMS Management, and HV Safety protocols
  • Create and distribute internal technical newsletters, bulletins, and best practice guides
  • Provide coaching and technical workshops for dealership technicians and frontliners
  • Maintain close collaboration with Regional Technical Teams for case management and product feedback
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering, or related technical discipline
  • At least 3 years of experience in advanced automotive technical work including diagnostics, technical case resolution, and field support
  • Willingness to travel for technical support when needed
  • Strong automotive technical knowledge across multiple vehicle systems
  • Automotive Technical Certifications are highly desirable
