Key Responsibilities
  • We require you to implement and configure network monitoring tools to track performance metrics and alerts.
  • You will analyze network traffic patterns and troubleshoot connectivity issues to maintain optimal system performance.
  • Prompt response to network alerts and incidents is necessary, minimizing disruption to services.
  • Collaboration with system and network engineers is required to identify and resolve potential network outages and vulnerabilities.
  • Maintenance of comprehensive documentation of network monitoring processes, configurations, and incident reports is essential.
  • You must conduct regular network assessments and provide recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
  • Staying updated on the latest networking technologies and trends is necessary to enhance monitoring capabilities.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to junior team members as needed is also required.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is necessary.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in network monitoring or network administration roles is required.
  • Strong familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., ScienceLogic, SolarWinds, Nagios) and protocols is necessary.
  • Solid understanding of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers is required.
  • Experience with troubleshooting network performance issues using packet analysis and network diagnostic tools is necessary.
  • Knowledge of network security principles and best practices is required.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach are necessary.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration across teams are required.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies and cloud-based network monitoring solutions is a plus.
