Financial Operations Lead

We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to join our team as an Accounting Manager. This role is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our organization, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth.
- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in standard U.S. accounting practices and methods, with a proven track record of preparing financial reports for management and outside agencies on a monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis, as required.
- They will perform project life-cycle cost analysis, reviewing sales and marketing expenditures, sales orders, and purchase orders to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Additionally, they will provide and interpret financial information, develop financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk, and work closely with external auditors to prepare required reporting.
- The successful candidate will also develop external relationships with auditors, bankers, and statutory organizations, conduct and coordinate internal and external audits, and prepare fiscal documentation.
- Key responsibilities include managing the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems, planning and preparing budgets and forecasts, monitoring and interpreting cash flows, and predicting future trends.
- As a leader of the Finance and Accounting team, they will oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, bank and account reconciliations, billing, coding, and payments.
- Furthermore, they will be responsible for federal and state tax reporting, including quarterly and year-end closing.
