Job Title: Financial Operations Director

About the Role

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Head of Accounting plays a pivotal role in driving the financial health and strategy of an organization.

This individual oversees the preparation of accurate financial statements, ensuring strict compliance with tax laws. They also lead the preparation and analysis of income tax returns and organizational budgets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain deep expertise in financial reporting and taxation, strong budgeting skills, and team management.
  • Foster knowledge of banking regulations, particularly the Manual of Regulations for Banks (MORB), as well as proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities include managing a high-performing accounting team, developing and implementing financial plans, and analyzing financial data to inform business decisions.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxation laws, and income tax return preparation and analysis.
  • Proven experience in corporate budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost control principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams effectively.
