Financial Operations Lead

A leading business process outsourcing (BPO) company is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Lead to oversee daily accounting functions, manage accounting activities for subsidiaries, and lead continuous improvement efforts.

Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee all daily accounting functions including expenses, fixed assets, leasing, intercompany transactions, and financial reporting.
  • Manage accounting activities for subsidiaries and work directly with third-party accounting firms.
  • Review and analyze intercompany accounts, post subsidiary trial balances, and perform variance analysis to ensure the integrity of financial data.
  • Prepare monthly and year-end financial reports, ensure compliance with US GAAP, and manage audits and filings for subsidiaries.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts by identifying and implementing solutions to enhance accounting processes and provide support for various ad hoc projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience preferably within a BPO or service company.
  • A strong grasp of US GAAP, financial controls, and working knowledge of forecasting and financial reports are essential.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and motivate others outside of their direct control.
  • Possess strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills as well as excellent communication abilities.
