The Credit Risk Head is a pivotal role within the organization, overseeing the development and implementation of effective underwriting and loan approval processes for unsecured consumer loan products. The primary focus is on ensuring compliance with established credit parameters and regulatory requirements to maximize customer satisfaction while minimizing undue risks.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic partnerships with cross-functional teams to stay abreast of emerging economic and industry trends impacting the unsecured consumer loan lending business. Remain knowledgeable about internal and regulatory credit policies and procedures to ensure seamless communication with direct reports.
  • Identify areas for improvement in manpower and service quality, recommending innovative solutions to drive business growth. Collaborate with stakeholders to formulate new approaches, meeting key performance indicators and client needs.
  • Drive achievement of committed Key Results Areas across PDO rates, RAM, TAT, and budget management.
  • Motivate and empower direct reports, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration. Ensure junior staff deliver commitments and responsibilities in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 6-10 years of leadership experience in credit evaluation and operations.
  • Skills: people management, analytics, and risk management.
