Position Title: Head, Segment and Channel Strategy, Bancassurance

Job Summary:

  • The role's primary objective is to enable and support the Bank's Bancassurance channels and Insurance partners (AXA) to drive overall execution of the Bank's Bancassurance strategy to achieve business goals. Jobholder shall support the Bancassurance Head and related stakeholders in growing the Bancassurance business as follows:
  • Act as Relationship Manager for Bancassurance channels, Partners, branches, subsidiaries/affiliates, vendors, and various units.
  • Function as Program Champion for all insurance referral and cross-sell initiatives of AXA/CHARTER/OTHER INSURANCE COMPANIES to the Bank's customer base (depositors, credit cards, personal loans, Private Wealth and consumer loans). The Program Champion oversees leads referral, selling, processing, payments and product development of insurance products.
  • Coordinate between the Bank's Bancassurance and related channels and Insurance partners to ensure that all sales and back-office processes and procedures are adhered to by relevant units i.e. Operations and Finance and as a second line of defense.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree from a college/university, preferably a graduate of a Marketing or Business course. Some units in MBA, a masteral degree program, or Insurance licenses preferred.
  • Has at least 15 years' experience in Bancassurance, Banking and/or Insurance, program management, relationship management, strategic partnerships, sales leadership and with expertise in General Insurance
  • Has at least 10 years equivalent experience leading a sales team with success in coaching others to achieve sales and business targets.
  • Strong working knowledge in all MS Office applications, focusing on Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Highly driven and flexible with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions, demanding targets and navigating through complex organization structures.
