Talent Acquisition Specialist Job Description

Talent acquisition specialists play a pivotal role in identifying and recruiting top talent for an organization. This involves designing and updating job descriptions aligned with hiring needs, sourcing and engaging potential candidates through job portals, social media, and professional networks.

Responsibilities include managing full-cycle recruitment for IT and non-IT roles, utilizing applicant tracking systems to manage applications and ensure smooth hiring workflows. Effective recruiting emails are crafted to attract passive candidates, resumes are screened, phone/virtual interviews are conducted, and strong candidate pipelines are delivered.

Job openings are advertised on company career pages, job boards, and social platforms, and collaboration with hiring managers occurs to understand role requirements and deliver the best talent. Additionally, support is provided to HR Operations by managing and maintaining the performance management system, preparing and updating HR reports and dashboards for leadership.

Key Requirements
  • 1–2 years of proven experience in talent acquisition (IT & Non-IT)
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies and recruitment best practices
  • Hands-on experience with ATS and HR tools
  • Familiarity with Performance Management Systems and HR reporting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a remote work environment with minimal supervision
