- Negotiate rates and service agreements with ocean carriers and service providers, ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on market dynamics and their impact on pricing, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with sales and customer service teams to deliver tailored pricing solutions for customers, aligning with their unique needs and requirements.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies that optimize profitability and competitiveness.
- Analyze and manage cost structures related to ocean freight services, ensuring accurate pricing and optimal returns.
- Stay up-to-date on international trade regulations and compliance requirements related to ocean freight in the Europe Export Trade Lane, ensuring all pricing strategies adhere to relevant standards.
- Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, leveraging strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to drive business success.
- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field; Master's degree is an advantage.
- Proven experience in pricing management within the freight forwarding or logistics industry, with a focus on ocean freight services.
- Strong understanding of international trade and logistics, particularly in the Europe Export Trade Lane.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data analysis and pricing modeling tools, as well as knowledge of industry-specific software and systems.
