Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations Manager to lead and scale our remote operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong finance and bookkeeping background, with hands-on experience in financial operations and compliance.

The Senior Operations Manager will be responsible for managing a team of 4-8 operations specialists, overseeing bookkeeping and accounting operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will design and implement scalable back-office processes, collaborate with Business Operations Technologists to enhance system integrations, automation, and data management, and drive data-informed decision making through KPI development, reporting systems, and operational analytics.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the Senior Operations Manager must possess:

  • 5+ years of operations management experience, preferably managing remote or distributed teams
  • Strong finance and bookkeeping background with hands-on experience in financial operations and compliance
  • Experience managing HR functions including recruiting, payroll, and compliance and managing external consultants and vendors across multiple disciplines
