IT Specialist Job Description:

Job Overview:

The IT Specialist will provide day-to-day technical support to restaurants, guests, and the head office. They will troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support:

    • Provide on-site and remote IT assistance to employees, guests, and internal teams.

    • Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.

    • Efficiently utilize service management systems to track and log issues, requests, and complaints.

    • Escalate complex issues to internal teams when necessary.

  • Customer Service:

    • Respond to and resolve IT-related incidents and customer complaints efficiently.

    • Maintain effective communication with end-users, delivery partners, franchisees, and head office staff.

    • Ensure all interactions are conducted professionally and align with company standards.

  • Documentation:

    • Document solutions and communicate them to end-users clearly.

    • Create user-friendly documentation and guides for end-users.

    • Identify recurring incidents and escalate them to Level 2 support to prevent future occurrences.

  • Service Management:

    • Handle incoming IT service requests from employees, ensuring proper resolution and communication.

    • Collaborate with the IT Manager and other team members to enhance service delivery processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in an IT support or helpdesk role.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Familiarity with service management systems and tools.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • A background in the hospitality industry is beneficial.
