Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a technical support specialist, you will be responsible for providing timely and effective technical assistance to restaurant operations.

This is a remote position that requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. You will be working with various IT systems and platforms, with occasional on-site visits as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide real-time technical support to restaurant teams during business hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Use remote tools (e.g., TeamViewer) to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Maintain and update POS menus, item settings, modifiers, reservation systems, and online platforms (Google Business Profile, Facebook)
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to POS errors, printer malfunctions, delivery platform connectivity (Uber Eats, Menulog, DoorDash), and online reservation systems (Quandoo, SevenRooms)
  • Communicate effectively with external vendors and platform support teams
  • Document support cases and maintain an internal knowledge base of common issues and solutions

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Basic networking knowledge (router/modem setup, IP configuration, DHCP/static IPs)
  • Experience with hospitality technology platforms, including POS and online booking systems
  • Proficiency with remote support tools such as TeamViewer
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support non-technical users patiently and clearly
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks independently
