A Bilingual Research & Analytics Analyst plays a vital role in performing web-based research on technology-driven corporations and institutions. The position involves validating and quality-assuring patent data by assigning patents to their accurate commercial owners and verifying their legal validity and remaining lifetime.

The team utilizes superior datasets, which enable customers to unveil valuable patent insights and clearly see who wields commercial power over the inventions that underpin promising patents.

  • ">
  • Primarily responsible for processing companies whose patent records/information are in Japanese.">
  • Identify patent ownership based on extensive research on corporate structure, M&A, Spin-offs, company name changes, and patent transactions.">
  • Conduct quality control measures to ensure data is highly accurate and reliable.">
  • Responsible for validating, updating, and verifying customer information in the Harmonizer Tool.">
  • Ensure updates or changes in the customer database are accurate and meet quality standards.">
  • Meet or exceed productivity targets based on efficiency (target processing time per customer may vary depending on the type of process and portfolio size).">
  • Identify future process improvements to further enhance team or individual performance.">
  • Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders and team members to foster collaboration.">
  • Ensure data standards and SLAs are met.">
  • Communicate effectively on the status of tasks and projects in progress.">

  • Bachelor's degree holder.">
  • Intermediate to Advanced reading and writing proficiency in Japanese (Nihongo).">
  • Experience in research, data quality, and analysis (preferably as a Bilingual analyst).">
  • Strong verbal and written proficiency in English.">
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.">
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams consisting of US and International-based employees, as well as customer resources in multiple locations and time zones.">
  • Ability to provide detailed information and summarize effectively for management.">
  • Ability to work under pressure and within an environment of constant change.">
