Job Description

The role of Business Intelligence Analyst involves collaborating with the business intelligence and governance unit to assist in strategic planning. The analyst will be responsible for maintaining and developing business data, creating financial models, and conducting research to provide actionable insights.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain databases for customer, commercial, operational enterprise analytics, and different business units
  • Assist in monitoring and analyzing business data and performance metrics against strategic goals and industry performance indicators
  • Create financial models and conduct qualitative and quantitative research for business and corporate planning, M&A activities, and strategic initiatives
  • Collaborate with senior management to implement strategic initiatives and manage organizational changes driven by new strategies

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Basic financial modeling knowledge/skills
  • Good business acumen, preferably with knowledge in business analysis and corporate/business-level strategy formulation
  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Critical thinking; finance/strategy oriented
  • Efficient and thorough, detail-oriented
  • Persistent - has follow-through
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
  • Knowledge/skills in Power BI Analytics highly preferred
  • High level of integrity

Education and Experience Required

  • Relevant educational qualifications, a Bachelor's/College Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Banking, Commerce or equivalent
  • Experience in asset management or related industry is preferred
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • 1-2 years or more work experience in banking, finance, or investments industry (highly preferred but not required)
  • Knowledge of basic strategic management
  • Knowledge of asset management products
  • Knowledge of economics and financial market
