Job Title: Customer Service Operations Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Customer Service Operations Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inbound fax lines, sorting and processing documents efficiently and accurately.

You will handle initial and ongoing communication with doctors and providers to pursue valid prescription orders and/or medical records for patient supply orders via multiple fax inboxes.

This position requires strong organizational and analytical skills, as well as excellent customer service skills. You will work within the scope of responsibilities outlined below, with guidance and support from leadership team.

Responsibilities:
  1. Review documents retrieved from inbound faxes to determine validity; scan documents efficiently and accurately (estimated 100 documents per day).
  2. Maintain accurate and detailed records in the company database.
  3. Manage assigned fax inbox to correspond with appropriate teammates.
  4. Provide excellent customer service while communicating with provider offices and teammates.
  5. Adapt quickly to frequent process changes and improvements.
  6. Be reliable, engaged, and provide feedback to improve processes and policies.
Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of college coursework or relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of Healthcare Operations or Revenue Cycle Components is a plus.
  • Experience with Contact Center phone systems such as NICE and/or Genesys is advantageous.
