Directly reports to: Professional Services Manager
Responsibilities- Administer different employee benefit programs
- Act as liaison officer to government agencies (SSS, PhilHealth, BIR, HDMF)
- Submit reports to update or declare new employees and separated employees to SSS/PhilHealth/HDMF for policy coverage using print form or electronic transaction form
- Ensure compliance with all labor and benefit mandates and stay current on regulatory changes relating to HR and payroll processes
- Facilitate filing of claims to SSS/EC/PhilHealth/HDMF via online system or manual transactions to government offices
- Facilitate loan details and updating of employee records to SSS, HDMF, and PhilHealth and provide feedback to concerned employees and managers
- Resolve conflicts with benefit providers (i.e., government agencies) for the purpose of validating enrollment eligibility and processing claims
- Prepare requests or advances for employee SSS benefits and file reimbursement claims to SSS (SSS sickness and SSS maternity)
- Secure and verify government numbers such as SSS, HDMF, TIN and PhilHealth for newly hired employees
- Process payments for statutory contributions and loans
- Coordinate with messengers for payments in government institutions and/or banks
- Provide assistance for other PS services as required from time to time (e.g., final pay processing)
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree related to HR
- At least 1 year of working experience in the related field
- Background in Compensation & Benefits and Payroll is a plus
- Strong work ethic and the ability to maintain good working habits to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Highly organized with keen attention to detail
