Senior Legal Counsel Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the corporate affairs of our organization, providing sound advice on day-to-day operations and working with external legal teams.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise on commercial contracts with third parties, such as restaurants and shops, marketing partners and suppliers.
  • Craft corporate documents and communications for customers, suppliers and vendors.
  • Monitor compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, including local government, e-commerce and fintech laws.
  • Liaise with regional and central legal teams to ensure common standards and practices.

Our ideal candidate will have 5-6 years of experience as a lawyer focusing on e-commerce, corporate and commercial matters. Knowledge of local e-commerce/internet law, corporate governance matters and labor laws is essential.

Requirements:

  1. A minimum of 5-6 years of experience in a similar role.
  2. Degree in Law from an accredited institution.
  3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Up-to-date knowledge of e-commerce, corporate and commercial laws.
