Job Description:As a Legal Assistant at StaffScout, you will remotely assist attorneys by managing essential tasks that contribute to the efficient operation of legal teams. Your responsibilities will include legal research, document preparation, and case management, ensuring our clients' legal processes run smoothly. Key Responsibilities:Conduct legal research and gather case information.
Draft, review, and manage various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts. Assist in organizing and maintaining case files. Communicate with attorneys, clients, and other legal professionals.
Manage schedules and coordinate virtual meetings. Prepare trial materials, including exhibits and affidavits. Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, managing correspondence, and updating case records.
Qualifications:Proven experience as a legal assistant or similar role. Familiarity with U.S. legal terminology and procedures is a plus but not required. Proficient in legal research and case management software.
Excellent communication skills in English (both written and oral). Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks. Paralegal certification is a bonus but not mandatory.
