Deputy Director- Legal and Compliance Department (Lawyer)

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

I. Legal Guidance and Interpretation: Offer legal advice to Management, Department Heads and staff on a range of legal issues. Interpret and enforce laws, regulations, and policies. Provide guidance on legal risks and potential liabilities

II. Regulatory Compliance Management: Create and enforce compliance programs and procedures. Create and execute compliance programs in accordance with PAGCOR, AML, and other Philippine regulations. Initiate Full Compliance in DATA Privacy Law Track and guarantee adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Perform compliance audits and investigations. Identify legal and regulatory risks and create strategies for mitigation.

III. Contract Administration: Examine contracts and business agreements to ensure legal and regulatory compliance Ensure adherence to contractual commitments. Handle contract-related disputes

IV. Coordination and Communication: Represent the Company for legal affairs Liaise with government judicial and administrative bodies Liaise and coordinate with other departments, external counsels, other corporation, and/or government agencies Foster relationship with legal experts and regulatory bodies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelor of Law/ Juris Doctor Member of a Philippine bar
  2. Must have at least (5 ) years of legal experience, with at least (2) years in a leadership role.
  3. Background in industry like Hotel & Casino, iGaming Industry, plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Excellent management, goal-oriented, and presentation skills, with strong interpersonal abilities. With good physical and emotional resilience, capable of performing effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
