Foreign Exchange Risk Specialist
This role involves managing the company's foreign currency exposure, developing strategies to mitigate risk, ensuring cost-effective operations, and measuring the impact of FX movements on our business.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and manage the company's foreign currency exposure across all markets and suppliers, minimizing potential losses.
- Develop accurate forecasts of incoming and outgoing foreign currency flows to support cash flow planning and risk management.
- Collaborate with senior finance staff to establish hedging strategies that minimize FX risk and maximize returns.
- Reconcile FX transactions and provide regular reporting on FX exposures, gains/losses, and hedging performance.
- Maintain relationships with financial institutions to ensure competitive rates and service levels.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and implement improvements to FX risk management processes, systems, and tools.
