Job Role

As a Billing Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing and streamlining invoicing and payment processes.

The ideal candidate will take full ownership of the billing cycle, maintain effective communication with teams, and ensure all accounts are up to date and accurately managed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage 40-50 accounts, ensuring accurate and timely billing and payments.
  • Take responsibility for the entire invoicing process from initiation to completion, obtaining log sheets from clients, and generating itemized invoices based on provided data.
  • Collaborate directly with clients to facilitate payment processes, including charging credit cards and resolving issues.
  • Review aging accounts weekly to identify overdue payments and unpaid invoices, and follow up with clients or facilities to resolve outstanding balances promptly.
  • Submit a weekly report summarizing billing activities, outstanding accounts, and resolved issues.
  • Input relevant billing and payment data into software to maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years experience in billing or invoicing, preferably in an accounting or finance role.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in financial software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration, as well as ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
