About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled estimator to provide accurate takeoffs and costing for electrical projects. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of lighting fixtures, controls, and be able to efficiently translate drawings into precise estimates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough takeoffs and cost estimates using advanced software such as Planswift or Bluebeam
  • Review and interpret architectural and electrical drawings, including reflected ceiling plans with high accuracy
  • Identify and quantify lighting fixtures and controls from project documents with precision
  • Prepare detailed and accurate reports using Microsoft Excel with ease
  • Collaborate with the project team to verify and refine estimates ensuring quality
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Planswift or Bluebeam is mandatory
  • A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required
  • Background in electrical projects is essential
  • Experience in electrical lighting controls and reflected ceiling plans is a must
  • Knowledge of lighting fixtures and controls for takeoffs is crucial
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent English skills, and effective communication are necessary
  • Prior estimating experience is highly valued
