Financial Reporting Specialist

This role is responsible for the management of financial reporting processes, including month-end close procedures, internal control measures, external audit engagements, and sales tax compliance. The successful candidate will report directly to the Accounting Manager and be part of our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare account reconciliations, bridges, roll-forwards, and journal entries
  • Maintain adherence to policies and procedures, SOX controls, and US GAAP guidelines
  • Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closure procedures
  • Collaborate with external auditors in support of quarterly reviews, respond to auditor requests, and assist in documentation of accounting policies and procedures
  • Contribute to process improvements and implement best practices and new policies and procedures
  • Manage fixed assets activities, including additions, disposals, depreciation, and impairment
  • Reconcile payroll-related balance sheet accounts and perform other payroll-related tasks as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • CPA license
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in accounting, focusing on month-end close, financial reporting, and annual financial statement audits
  • High level of accuracy and detail-oriented skills, with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
